The Credits System

Introduced in March 2026 — buy credits to continue working after your quota runs out.

How Credits Work

  • • Credits cost $0.01 each
  • • Bulk pricing: $199 for 20,000 credits
  • • Used when your included quota runs out
  • • Two modes: auto-charge or stop-on-empty

Credit Overage Settings

  • Never (default): Work stops when quota hits zero, resumes at next refresh
  • Always: Automatically draws from purchased credits — no interruptions

Note: Google has not publicly documented how many tokens or operations one credit buys.

Limits Have Changed Significantly

Since Antigravity launched in November 2025, free tier limits have been cut multiple times. The original 250 requests/day was reduced to 20 requests/day by December 2025 — a 92% reduction. Pro tier limits were similarly cut. Google has signaled that the current free offering may not reflect the long-term model. Check the official Antigravity site for the most current limits.

Pricing FAQ

Is Google Antigravity really free?

Yes, there is a genuine free tier with no credit card required. However, the free tier only includes 20 agent requests per day (as of December 2025, down from the original 250). Tab completions and basic editor features remain unlimited.

Will Antigravity stay free?

Google has not committed to a permanent free tier. The product launched with generous free limits that have since been significantly cut. The introduction of the credits system in March 2026 suggests Google is moving toward a usage-based model. For the latest status, check antigravity.google directly.

What happens when I hit the daily limit?

By default, agent tasks stop until your quota refreshes (every 5 hours for Gemini Flash on the free tier). If you've purchased credits, you can enable "AI Credit Overages: Always" to automatically continue using credits instead of waiting.

How does the credits system work?

Credits cost $0.01 each and are used when your included plan quota runs out. You can buy credits in bulk ($199 for 20,000). Google has not published the exact token or request value of one credit.

Is Antigravity free for commercial use?

The current free tier terms allow use for personal and professional development. Review Google's official Antigravity Terms of Service for commercial use details, especially for team or enterprise deployments.
